Welcome to the Habitat
In the beginning, far removed from the southern swamps, their grooves would grab and transport you to that beautiful coastal magic. Now the band has moved close to southern Florida's alligator alley where they are feeling right at home! That Colorado mountain feel will have you rock'n from heel-to-heel. Check out our latest album

Vocals & Guitar I spent my younger years with my family and friends in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. I am addicted to Vinyl and listen to classic rock, blues and Funk. My notable influences include Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, James Taylor, Joe Perry, Neal Young, Keith Richards and Martin Barre to name a few. I enjoy the challenges of song writing in a band situation and my goal is learning and adding teeth to the Gator music as we progress together. After many years of searching for tone nirvana , I have settled in nicely with dynamic picking attributed to the Vibro King. Blending with Marshall I'm comfortable. Strat, acoustic, finger, slide, tunings , and variety are for me. 40+ years of playing and still learning and having fun.
Vocals & Guitar The thing I like most about writing and playing music is the freedom of expression. While playing in bands I've had an opportunity to play keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass guitar. I enjoy playing the bass guitar the most because it allows me to relax into the rhythm and move with the music. It is a good feeling to look out at a crowd when they are feeling the music with you and have that sense of unity with them. Joe and I have played together for many years and we have played in many cover bands but our time with the Blue Gators has been a perfect culmination of all our experience.
Drums Accepting the outrageous challenge of creating musical noise, I fell in love with drumming as a child. Tune the drums. Each one is a note and the snare is an accent. Play from the heart and people will listen. Everyone is a drummer at heart. Play for the moment, since that's all there really is. The audience rules! After years of study and rudimental practice, I began performing live in Pittsburgh, PA at fifteen years of age. Live performance remains my favorite adventure to this day. From shows in Las Vegas to the Blues in Chicago; from after hour night clubs in Pittsburgh to after hours shows in Los Angeles; from Rock and Roll clubs across the country to Country Clubs in SW Florida, I have loved this musical trip. The Blue Gators gives me the freedom to create musical noise! Having a jazz feeling of improvisation added to a driving Rhythm and Blues feeling opens up a world of possibilities. Original music has aleways been my greatest desire as a musician. Joe is a prolific writer and a tremendous guitarist. Kalena is an accomplished musician and a superlative Bass Guitarist. I'm happy to add energy and musical noise to their voices and instruments.
